A lot of my clients start out by asking, "So what is coaching, anyway?"
Well, it's a complicated question with a complicated answer.
So let me try to make it a little simpler: coaching is what happens when you and I get together with the sole purpose of making you remember what it feels like to be your most kickass. (Yes, that feeling - remember that? Has it been a little too long?)
Most of us have some trouble getting out of our own way, and having a coach is the first step in learning how to identify how to sidestep all of your pesky inner critics and start motoring up the road to awesometown. (It's a place. Trust me!)
I generally work with my clients for a minimum of six months - it takes at least that much time to get some good learning in, make some moves, form some great new habits, and start building towards next-level greatness. Coaching shouldn't feel like a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am kind of relationship - it needs to be a process. (Rome wasn't built in a day, right? And...many hands make light work? Okay, I'll stop.)
